Job summary

Under the authority of the Export-Marketing Sales Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating marketing projects by supervising team members. You will ensure the maintenance and implementation of the strategies and tactics of the marketing plan, in addition to protecting the understanding of the action plan (market analysis, activation of target customers, communication plan, media plan, image management, advertising and communications), to ensure consistency with the business and sales strategies of the company. You will also have to ensure the relevance of the brand’s positioning within our market and to be a resource person for everything that has attracted the various communication tools with  our customers and  partners, in connection with their participation in the company.


Description of key responsibilities
  • Manage a small marketing team
  • Ensure the coordination of teams and subcontractors (marketing, SEO/SEM/SMM, social media manager, etc.) for the realization of the marketing plan
  • Be responsible for product launches and promotions
  • Collaborate in the development of the marketing and communication plan for the company and participate in the tactical implementation of initiatives
  • Conduct market research in collaboration with the product manager and marketing partners. At the same time, take into account the behavior, needs and purchasing method of customers in order to identify new opportunities and threats.
  • Promote the company in various commercial competitions (e.g. application files for the chamber of commerce, employer of choice) and to participate in obtaining various subsidies
  • Participate in the preparation and coordination of virtual events and trade shows in Quebec and outside the province
  • Design, produce and update the various sales tools, presentations, editorial calendar, newsletter and more in collaboration with the teams concerned
  • Administer recognition programs in collaboration with the Human Resources team
  • Ensure that the brand’s image is respected and that it is deployed in markets
  • Evaluate the profitability of choices, actions and marketing plan
  • Be responsible for the company’s website, e-commerce marketing and social media strategy
  • Perform any other related duties requested by his/her immediate supervisor related to marketing, communications, or support to the sales department

Experience and knowledge

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or in similar functions
  • Fluency in written and spoken English as well as an excellent knowledge of written and spoken French
